Mr. Remington is a retired entrepreneur who most recently founded Pet Resorts, Inc. and its subsidiary Pete & Mac’s© Recreational Resorts for Pets and served as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer..
Prior to Pet Resorts, Mr. Remington was President and Chief Executive Officer of TechAmerica Group from 1971 until it was sold in 1986. The first parvo virus vaccine was developed at this time. He founded Agri Laboratories, Ltd., in 1984. Prior to forming the TechAmerica Group and Agri Laboratories Mr. Remington held various management positions with Phillips Roxanne, a division of Phillips Electronics and Pharmaceutical Industries, Inc. (now Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica). He was also founder and President of BioCeutic, Inc. and a managing officer of Anchor Laboratories. Mr. Remington founded Phoenix Pharmaceutical, Inc. in 1987 and Phoenix Scientific, Inc. in 1990 and served as chairman of the board and a director until his retirement in 2002. Mr. Remington was also responsible for originating the creation and ultimate enactment of the Generic Animal Health legislation in 1990.
