26 pair category 5E cables come in four lengths,  500 foot NSN 5995-01-561-4814, 250 foot NSN 5995-01-561-4812, 100 foot NSN 5995-01-561-4815, 50 foot NSN 5995-01-561-4816.   The 26 pair Category 5E cables give a clear signal over greater distances; the cable has been tested to 500 feet.  They are more damage resistant and eliminate the need to lay multiple cables.  The solid state Category 5E circuitry operates at speeds up to 300 MHz.
